Villion Solo White Merlot 2024
Tasting Notes
Mouthwatering blueberry muffin with liquorice spice dominates initially, followed by layers of seductive mulberry fruit and playful caramel and vanilla pod. A sprinkling aroma of aniseed and young, green fennel adds to this unique and intriguing creation.
A beguiling, sweet sensation on the entry leads into a broad, silky and creamy mouthfeel. The captivating dark berry fruit mid-palate creates a firm texture and lovely tension lending the wine a fresh, crushed-stone expression. Rounded off with a seamless, lingering almond finish. Perfectly balanced.
Red or white? Neither and both – the firmness of a red and the fresh elegance of a white. Truly beguiling.
