Villion Cabernet Franc 2021
Tasting Notes
Classical style with primary fruit dominance of red berries, paprika spice and sundried tomato on the entry. Enriched with strawberry compote, ripe black cherries, and newly polished leather. Notes of spice and roasted almonds from perfectly integrated French Oak complete this captivating and layered bouquet.
Confident but soft mouth-filling entry engages the senses with layered, fresh, red cherry fruit acidity. Subtle, sweet, dark chocolate cacao-tannin supports the gentle and perfectly balanced velvety grip in the finish. Stylish and well-structured, the reflection of a true classic, with a lasting carry and lingering aftertaste.
Delightful already but will reward amply with a richer experience within the next 10-15 years. Decanting recommended.
