Villion Heritage Sauvignon Blanc 2024
(Wooded and Unfiltered)
Tasting Notes
Playful ripe kiwi fruit and nartjie peel entry with secondary sweet caramel and vanilla pod spice. Layered with seductive rose petal and white peach, tropical perfume. Slight fynbos potpourri and grassy notes combined with wet stone earthiness complete this unique, French oak fermented Sauvignon Blanc.
Mouth filling, soft and creamy entry is layered with blueberry licorice flavours; ending with a silky but textured, saline oyster-shell finish. Broad structure is attributed to the 38-year age of the vines.
Use of Oak
Matured for 9 months in second fill 300 & 400L French Oak barrels.
