Villion Pinot Noir 2022
Tasting Notes
Explosive, intriguing entry, dominated by a mouthwatering, intense red berry-fruit core. Ripe raspberry and freshly crushed pomegranate fruit spikes. Playful, early morning fynbos and sliced ginger nuances expand this elegant Pinot Noir. Lovely saline and wet stone notes reflect the wine’s maritime and spontaneous fermented nature.
Lively, vibrant, mouth-filling entry with fresh Tay berry-fruit spectrum and a captivating, sherbet acidity. Lucky Star sweet expression with lovely rooibos tealeaf texture evolves into a pleasurable, prolonged finish. Perfectly balanced.
Delightful already but will amply reward with a richer experience within the next 5 – 12 years.
