Tasting Notes

Subtle, gentle entry of perfumed ripe, sweet, citrus nartjie and caramelized white pear slices. Layers of crushed stone salinity combine with ripe, Golden Delicious appletart crumble to reflect the spontaneous fermentation character of this perfectly balanced Chardonnay.

Mouth-filling creaminess with a rounded texture and a delightful, lingering and broad citrus presence on the mid-palate. Perfect balance attained between the expression of origin in Elgin fruit and immaculately judged support of French oak maturation.

Delightful already but will amply reward with a richer experience within the next 8 – 10 years from harvest.
