Villion Syrah 2012

Dark ruby in colour with a youthful purple edge.

Tasting Notes

Pure primary plum flavour on the entry, layered with peppery spiciness induced by the cool origin of the fruit. Seduces the senses with hints of sweet caramel from small French oak maturation. Fruit and oak integrate perfectly to showcase cherry tobacco, cedar blue berry and hints of vanilla pod.

Subtle and easy entry on the palate.  Cool climate natural acidity refreshes this medium bodied Syrah with gentle, smooth and sweet tannins.
